DBTurbine is a TurbineWeb service. This page describes the intended handling of information during the development stage.

Account information

We store account details, password hashes, session identifiers, plan configuration and operational records needed to run the service. Passwords are not stored as plain text. Sessions use HTTP-only cookies.

Database content and backups

Your hosted databases and recovery backups contain your application data. Access should be restricted to authorized management operations and customer credentials. Backup storage and network access are configured independently of the public website.

Service providers

The service is designed to use Vultr for compute, S3-compatible storage for backups and Polar for payment processing. Final provider, retention and data-location disclosures will be published before paid launch.

Secrets and logs

Provider credentials are encrypted at rest and withheld from public API responses. Operational logs must exclude passwords, tokens, connection secrets and database contents.
